Flute Lesson Plan for Beginners:
 
Lessons are focus on: Notation knowledge, correct posture, sound, technique
and expression.

 
Introduction to the Instrument:
 
1. Overview of the Instrument. 
2. How to take care and handle the Instrument.
3. Hot to hold the head joint.
4. How to make a sound into the lip-plate. 
5. How to use your air, to be able to play longer notes.
6. Assembling and disassembling the flute parts together.
7. Name of the notes.
 
Basics of the Music Notation:
 
1. Music Clefs (2 of them).
2. Name of the notes.
3. Notes length (duration), their rhythm.
4. Music Keys.
5. Time signature.
 
Basics of playing on the Instrument:
 
1. Embouchure (quality of sound).
2. Posture.
3. Fingers position and fingering.
4. Playing the Long Tones (for expanding the diaphragm). 
5. Play Major and Minor scales. One Octave only (for understanding and memorizing fingering).
6. Play Etudes and Technical Exercises.
7. Play short pieces.
